What is included in a new project

Every new iDos Games project starts with sign-in, a lobby and six ready systems; more systems such as a store, leaderboards, events or multiplayer are added when the app needs them.

A new project is not an empty page: it starts with sign-in, a lobby and six ready systems, plus a playable starting game. Other systems are added when the app needs them - by you or by the AI coder.

The base: sign-in and lobby

  • Sign-in: players sign in with an iDos Games account; the same account works across all apps on the platform.
  • Lobby: the home screen of the app with balances, profile and the list of modes to play.

Six systems in every project

SystemWhat it does
ProfilePlayer name, avatar and progress
InventoryItems and currencies the player owns
FriendsFriend list and requests
InvitesInvite links that bring new players
QuestsDaily and one-time tasks with rewards
MailMessages and gifts from the app to the player

Systems added when needed

The platform has a ready system for each part of the game backend. Among them:

  • Economy: store, premium, loot boxes, boosts, crafting, marketplace, deals.
  • Competition: leaderboards, PvP, seasons, timed events, co-op events.
  • Social: chat, multiplayer rooms, user-made content (workshop).
  • Content: tutorials, collections, rewards, character, AI generation inside the app.

When you ask the AI coder for something that a ready system already does - "add a leaderboard", "add a shop" - it installs that system instead of writing new code. Its screen appears for players only after it is configured.

Starting games

The platform also has ready games to start from - a board game, an idle RPG, a voxel sandbox and a minimal template. When you create a project, the platform picks one that fits your idea.

Developers can see how systems are built and connected in the TypeScript SDK overview.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay extra for the ready systems?

The systems are part of the platform SDK and are added to your project as code. They run on the iDos Games backend, so you do not need your own server or database.

Can I remove a system I do not need?

Yes. Tabs of systems that have nothing configured stay hidden from players, and the project code can be changed like any other code.
