TypeScript SDK and project structure
How an iDos Games project is built - the @idosgames npm packages, a host shell with sign-in and lobby, feature modules for systems and games, and one config file for the look.
An iDos Games project is a TypeScript app made of a host shell and feature modules, built on the @idosgames
npm packages. The shell gives sign-in and the lobby; each module is one system (store, quests…) or one game; the
client talks to the iDos Games game API, so no server of your own is needed.
Packages
| Package | Purpose |
|---|---|
@idosgames/core | Client for the game API: sign-in, player data, economy and every system |
@idosgames/app-shell | The host shell: sign-in screen, lobby, navigation and shared UI |
@idosgames/module-sdk | The contract a module implements to plug into the shell |
@idosgames/react | Shared React components and the UI kit |
@idosgames/wallet | Wallet signing for token deposits and withdrawals |
@idosgames/mcp | Local MCP server with modules and skills for AI agents |
Project structure
- Base: sign-in and lobby from
@idosgames/app-shell, set up insrc/app.config.ts(start screen, tab order). - Systems:
src/modules/{id}/, one folder per system. Each registers its own lobby tab and hides it while nothing is configured for it on the app. - Games: also modules; the lobby builds its "Play" list from the games in the project.
- Look: one file
src/ui.config.tsfor theme, animations and sounds.

Working with the code
- In the AI coder in the dashboard - chat, live preview and version history.
- With your own agent - connect the MCP servers and let the agent use the modules and skills.
- With GitHub - connect a repository to the project in the dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an SDK for Unity?
Yes, there is a C# SDK for Unity that calls the same game API. New platform systems reach it separately, so check the system you need is available there.
Do I need my own backend?
No. Accounts, inventory, economy, leaderboards and the other systems run on the iDos Games game API.
