Reward pool
The reward pool is the platform's smart contract that holds tokens set aside for player rewards and contest prizes; players withdraw what they earned from it to their own wallet.
Crypto tokens are volatile and can lose all of their value. This page explains how the platform works and is not financial advice.
The reward pool is a smart contract of the platform that holds tokens set aside for players. An app puts tokens into it for rewards, and players withdraw what they earned to their own wallet.
How it works
- The app's tokens for rewards are deposited into the pool.
- A player earns a reward in the app - for a quest, a leaderboard place or a contest prize.
- The player opens the app page on idosgames.com, connects a wallet and withdraws. The iDos Games server signs a one-time permission for exactly that amount, and the contract pays it out.
Why one pool for the whole platform
The pool address always comes from the platform's own registry for each network, never from an app's settings. This way an app cannot point withdrawals to a contract of its own, and players always withdraw from the same known contract.
