At the beginning of 2021, four buddies – Goner, Gargamel, No Sass, and Emperor Tomato Ketchup – were living ordinary, unremarkable lives, working at ordinary jobs and occasionally managed to earn extra money in the artistic field. In April of that same year, 2021, they turned their attention to the rapidly growing NFT field. Quickly realizing that something could come of this, they release a collection of 10,000 images of tired monkeys. Which was marked as “Bored Ape Yacht Club” (BAYC).

Without knowing it, they became real rock stars of the NFT world. Their collection has become incredibly popular. You have probably heard that among the buyers there are such people as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Shaquille O’Neal and other world stars. Bored Ape has become like Google in its own field. And the most expensive NFT to date, from the Solid Gold series, was sold for 1080.69 ETH.

Welcome to iDos Games and our CryptoLego section. We will tell you about new technologies that are the future. And this future is already knocking on the door, so it’s time to figure it all out.

Let’s take a look at NFTs first. Everyone knows about it, everyone has heard about it, but there are still many people who do not know what it is and how this thing works. Let’s explore this fascinating world together.

In simple terms, NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token. Has everything become clear? Actually not really.

NFT lives, one might even say, thrives in the blockchain system (blockchain is a database that is simultaneously stored on a huge number of computers). Most of the tokens in this system are fungible. But not all digital assets work this way. For example, we cannot take the work of the virtuoso Pokras Lampas and replace it with the work of Felipe Pantone. To translate the blockchain into unique formats, NFT was created. Anything can be an NFT. 3D models, art, music, video, images, text – that is, any digital product that claims to be unique.

Now you know a little more about the NFT. Let’s pin it, any unique object can be turned into an NFT.

When you buy an NFT, you buy the token itself, but the copyright remains with the creator. Although there are exceptions where you can purchase copyright along with the NFT. But why should I buy some NFT? If I can find it freely available on the Internet, you say. Yes, your NFT can roam the net, but you will be the actual and sole owner of the original. This is a question of the value of art. NFT is a modern art, it’s hard not to agree with that. How is it better? To be the owner of the original painting “La Gioconda” or its cheap copy, which can be bought by anyone in the transition. Decide for yourself.

How can an NFT be created? This is the easiest part.

– You need to have a crypto wallet in the Ethereum system.

– Register on platforms that are tied to NFT: OpenSea, Rarible, Mintable. On these sites, you can create an NFT and sell it.

– After that, create your own collection there.

– Next, create a file with a digital object: photo, video, audio, etc.

– Add it to your collection.

– And click on the Create button.

That’s it, your token has been created! Now you need to wait for verification, click on the “Sell” button and wait until your collection finds its buyer. When the purchase is made, the money will go directly to your wallet.
